Creating shelter on small open allotment patch

Hi

I've taken over a small bit of allotment recently. It is a sunny spot all day, but it also doesnt have any nearby shelter.

I'm looking for suggestions to create a bit of shelter so I can plant some tomatoes to take advantage of the long sunny hours.

Needs to not bother my allotment neighbours and if its a plant it needs to grow big enough this season to protect this year's tomato crops.

My toms are still in pots in the garden/conservatory hardening off. Hope to get them into the allotment some time in June.

Thanks all

    Hi scroggin

Yes it looks like it is a windy spot. It's open and every time I've been down on a breezy day I've noticed the breeze. So I think some wind protection would be prudent.
