Thank Torg22, I started feeding them chilli focus weak mixture last week and since leaving then out in the sun the past couple of days. We've had very good weather in south east the past couple of days. perhaps they are slightly over water. I will keep an eye on them. what do you feed yours? Also can i use to up the calcium?
That looks a very small plant for feeding already, I thought they were like tomato plants where you feed once they start producing fruits.
i would just cut off the two marked leaves, the plant looks ok, but I'd give it a chance to grow under its own steam before it has too much feed poured into it.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
I don't leave them out overnight, only in the day time and when it's sunny. Also they are stood against the wall with other plants like tomato in front.
The chilli focus states they can be fed 5ml to litre of water when they are young and then upped to 10ml per 1 litre when they start flowering.
Chilli plants seems to be shorter, I thought I was doing something wrong until I saw the size that were been sold at garden centres. Also I snipped the growing tip off a few weeks ago to encourage the side shoots to grow.
I think your chilli will be fine. I use chilli focus on mine too and am currently keeping them in a mini greenhouse and behind glass in our shed. I will probably be forced to move them outside soon as they will no doubt shoot up in size soon.
I followed the advice above and the chilli seems to be doing well now. But the scotch bonnet are quite bushy and short. I did snip the top off a few weeks ago which will explain the bushy plant , but the hieght is not growing much.

I really puzzled about this trend for Chilli growing culture. How many super hot chillies does any family need?
'You must have some bread with it me duck!'
I'm not growing it for fun, we actually use a lot of it hence the reason why I'm growing it.
Perhaps give it a feed?
Plenty of sunlight and don't over water, only water when the soil appears to be drying out.
I'm growing shed loads of chillis. I don't eat them all but enjoy seeing the chillis form in the same way others like to see flowers bloom.

sunburn maybe? did you move it from somewhere that had partial shade (like a windowsill) outside into direct sunlight?
did you protect them at night? as its still getting cold at night to do some minor damage.

Have I done something wrong?
