Japanese Willow
My Japanese Willow is in a large pot as we only have a patio garden. Almost every year as the weather just starts to warm up I forget to water it and almost kill it. (Once summer kicks in I get into routine of daily watering). It always recovers but it's very lopsided now.
This year yet again the leaves have all died and gone brown. What is best course of action? Should I just leave it to recover as I normally do or trim it back a bit?

I'd leave it to recover, I think. If it's a really ugly shape you could prune it next winter, perhaps - and write "WATER WILLOW" on your calendar for next spring!
And don't forget to give it a feed too. It relies on you to give it some food and drink.
put it in a tray and keep the tray full of water (it is a willow after all) that way it will never dry out!
Thanks guys... Hoping to move house this year and plant it in ground ?
