    She looks a very contented old lady. Who can blame her for her choices. I know which I would choose too.

    My 2 (border collie Luna, 2 next week) Phalane  Leo,(lookit up!!!) 11 in March love the sun, yesterday Hubby under tree in shade, me in the sun for a while, then the dogs will go in the shade.  We go on the beach a lot, only 10 minutes by car, Luna loves the sea, Leo paddles but doesnt go in far.  My last 2 borders, would go to the edge and move quickly as soon as a tiny wave came their way, they both loved the sun, as did our last cat who was a big long haired half persian.  I can hardly swim, but would like both on a really hot day!

    (A couple of years ago we bought a very shallow kiddiepool, she refused to put even one paw in it.)
