Plant id please

Good morning! Does anyone recognise this plant please? Thank you!image

    Might be a hellebore - a little hard to tell without some  more info or pics regarding size / stem etc image

    Thanks - and sorry. I'll try and take a better picture. I don't think it is a hellebore as it is too tall.

    Looks 'hellebore-y' to me. Some of them are quite tall in the right conditions.18 inches or more. 

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I will go and have another look at it! (It's not in my garden). I wonder if it could be a self-seeded native?

    A bit more info such as height, length of leaves, colour of stem, flower heads / buds etc would help. And perhaps a picture from the side so we can see the growth habit?
