My tiny back yard

  • Not done much recently. I think I'm at full capacity now. I was planning to build a cover for my wheelie bins and put some shade loving plants on top (similar to the one on last night's GW but for shade) but I will leave that til next spring.

It's been a good year. Everything that I've had for a couple of years has grown a lot (ferns, bay tree, Tesco Christmas tree!!) and the new additions seem happy too.

I have a couple of shade plants ordered which are coming at the end of September.

Other than that I am done for this year.

The sunny spring we had was a joy and WFH meant I could appreciate the plants a lot more.

Who knows what next year will bring.....

    Looks like hypericum?

You could try Fatsia japonica. In a big pot it would make a handsome feature in a small yard.
