pruning bronze fennel to keep it lower?
in Plants
Hi, I have bronze fennel in my borders which I adore. They are almost the perfect height now (late May), but they will grow much taller and greener over the next few months. I´m wondering whether anyone has tried summer pruning to keep them lower? I´m happy if they grow taller, but just love state of bronze fluffiness they are currently at!

Hmm, I was wondering the same. They grow so fast I thought perhaps it would only mean a temporary ´de-fluffing´. Perhaps I will try it on one of the ones at the back and then they will be hidden by the ones at the front if it turns out to be a disaster!
:-) will do, thanks Chrissie
