Unknown grass?

Hi as you see from the pic, I have a grass growing in a small border, probably from seeds dropped by birds.  I don't know what it is - can anyone provide info please.  Many thanks.image

Carex pendula ... a bit of a thug ... not really for the average garden ... ok if you have a large woodland-type garden ... most people would recommend getting rid of it while it's small enough for you to stand a chance of winning. Don't let it seed.
