Lemon tree advise

Hello, I am seeking help & guidance.

My lemon "tree" is growing & seems to be healthy. These sprouts have been growing since last summer. I understand it will be a long while until it flowers & bears fruit, & thats ok.

my dilemma is I am at a point where I don't know what to do now.

Do I separate the sprouts & root systems & replant?

do I somehow combine the root system & replant?

do I leave it alone??

& I have one sprout that looks completely different, why is that?

can anyone shed some light on my situation.

i greatly appreciate it!

OH, I should add that each sprout is from a single seed

Anyone out there who can help me? I'd be extremely greatful...

Especially since my neighbor would like one of my sprouts for her own tree if possible.

In my opinion if these are all from individual seeds they look established enough to be repotted before their root systems become too entangled. Make sure the compost you use is suitable for the trees of course.

If the roots are entangled I find using a pencil useful to tease the roots apart rather than pulling or cutting.

They will probably need to be supported when you reply them and I'd be tempted to trim them down a little if required to help them support themselves.

Thank you very much, I guess I'll repot each individual sprout...or most of them anyway. I believe I am not supposed to put them in a large pot at first. Am I wrong?

Any idea at all of what the different looking sprout is??

It (they) need to be outside, if it has always been indoors, you will need to aclimatise it.  years unfortunately before you get flowers or fruit.  They dont like hot direct mid day sun.

I started it outside last summer, I still put it out on a nice warm day...

I am careful not to expose it to strong direct sun & I am aware it will be a long while before it would flower & bear fruit.

still..... Any idea what the different, light colored leaf/sprout is? Its more delicate than the others, & growing different.... Is it just a different type of lemon Tree??

    much thanks
