Chilli plants indoors and aphids

Hello. I'm growing various chilli plants on a sunny windowsill but they are infested with Aphids. any suggestions on how to get rid of them or should they be left alone ?

    Hi, i have one in a greenhouse, not doing well. On inspection, aphids everywhere. I got a jam jar of water and a small paintbrush. The aphids stick to a wet paintbrush, and then drown in the water when you dip it.  its not difficult to get them all off. Its relaxing too.
