Which way up please!

I have capillary matting in my hanging baskets with a reservoir but can't remember if it is the green or white side that goes up!

Anyone know which it is please?

    I have green capillary matting from Wilko which is in my propagators. If yours is the same then it's green side up with the seed trays on top.

    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
