Larkspur planting

peteSpeteS Posts: 966

I've a number of Larkspur seedlings which will be planted out in the next few weeks, but recently I read all parts of the plant are poisonous. As my neighbours cats are often in my garden, (which I don't mind) munching on my grasses, I was wondering if Larkspur would pose any threat to them.

Lots of things in the garden are poisonous so no worries.

Larkspur doesn't usually transplant well - it's best sown direct where you want it to grow  image

My cat is only interested in eating grass. i used to look into what was toxic to cats but then gave up when nearly every plant i liked was in some way toxic and just ignored the lists.
