Sweet corn seeds,
in Fruit & veg
Hi everyone.I have just bought some Sweetcorn seeds,is it too early to plant straight outside,or should I germinate them indoors first to give them a head start. Many thanks in advance.Elizabeth.

I would sow them in modules indoors so you can keep an eye on them and protect them from rodents.
Thank you very much,I thought that would be the best bet, just wanted to make sure it was the right thing to do.Kind regards,Elizabeth.
As obelixx says - start them off indoors to begin with and then plant outside well into June when they are a good size and can fend for themselves.
I sowed mine about 10 days ago and had 100% germination. Now about 5cm / 2" tall . I grow them on under cover until they're about 12" / 30cm tall and plant out in June.
