  • Thanks Fairygirl - so you don't think it looks like wilt or snail/slug damage? No need for me to prune it right back to encourage new growth? I'm worried I would kill it off completely if I did that now...

    NO.  leave it alone for a while but give it encouraging pep talks from time to time.

    Or maybe swear at it now and again - and point at the compost bin in a threatening manner....image

    It might have been slug/snail damage to a stem, but I wouldn't be too concerned about that. As Obelixx says, let it have a bit of time and take a view on it in a month or so.

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Ok - I shall leave well alone and have the occasional words, poke etc.

    All the lovely, new stems have withered and drooped, and these are the last two, so am not holding our much hope...

    We shall see.
