What's eating my clematis flowers??

imageimage        Hi! Does anyone know what's eating my lovely clematis flowers?? Should I be worried? I can't see anything.

    Slugs, snails and/or earwigs - all of which hide in the daytime.  Try looking with a torch after dark.

    Oh no! Must be earwigs I guess as no slime trails- nothing is safe!!

    I have moved from a sluggy garden to a snaily one.  No trails that I can see and very fond of clematis and clever at hiding.

    Found my culprit!! Another rehoming!! And I wondered how the clematis could support the weight of a snail as it's very floppy but it's a dinky one!image

    Well done.  There will be more and the small ones are really hard to spot.
