Leaf curl moth??

image Just discovered my echinops buds are all curled up & deformed looking. They are also a strange light green colour. Also the Rudbekia next door has the same symptoms. Is this the work of a leaf curl moth? See attached photo of unfurled leaf & little grub/caterpillar. Any advice on what the pest is & what to do gratefully received.

Tortrix moth caterpillars. They wrap themselves up in soft new shoots, spin a bit of web to lock 'emselves in and feed inside safe from predators and inclement weather. Pinch out the tips or just unfurl the leaves and remove them. Any systemic spray will sort it, if you feel you have to use one.
