New to growing potatoes.
in Fruit & veg
I planted some Maris Pipers about 4 weeks ago and now they are growing pretty good. It says to harvest with 12-22 weeks. The foliage is growing and I'm covering it up with the soil but the pile is getting pretty big. Do I keep covering the foliage or do I leave some leaves exposed? And how long do I keep on covering the foliage for?
Thanks

Do not cover the foliage. Just pile up the soil to cover the lower stems and the potatoes to prevent the light getting at them.
