Identification help please
Good afternoon all.
Could anyone identify this for me please? It's a shrub about 3 feet tall in a shady spot in my mother in law's garden but unfortunately, she's can't for the life of her remember what it's called and we can't find the ticket.
I've just the spot for one of these in mine so thanks in advance for any help given with this.

I think it could be an Olearia, Daisy bush.
It is very pretty.
Do the leaves look like this...

Looks like Olearia zennorensis.

I think it might be Olearia macrodonta.
It certainly is Fritillary
Silver Surfer, I've zoomed in on the leaf & it does look like the ones on the links, albeit not quite as spikey.
Are we settling on Olearia Zennorensis then?
Posted before I saw Ladybird's reply...Olearia of some description then?
We're narrowing it down anyway.
The leaves don't look right for macrodonta, I'm not familiar with zennorensis

It's growing quite happily in shade although all the Olearia I'm googling are stating "Full sun"...which is a bit confusing.
Plants don't read the books. I had a macrodonta in shade til it disappeared completely under an eleagnus

Don't think leaves fit with Olearia macrodonta. See good clear pics here so that you can compare to your shrub......

But there are other Olearia that I am not familiar with.
Very true Nutcutlet
Leaves definitely not as spikey as the Macrodonta.
I've plenty to be going on with anyway.
Many thanks to you all (again).
