Flower Identification Request

Hello everyone, and apologies for joining the forum just to ask for an identification.

I'm writing a piece for a resident's association magazine and would like to know what flower this is please.

It's in a little garden under a tree in Gloucester Terrace in London.

(I know what the flowers in the background are).
