Pond plants
I am expecting a delivery of a few pond plants next week and they will be supplied in 1 litre baskets. A couple of dwarf waterlillies, Sagittaria sagittifolia and Pontederia.
Should I be potting them into something bigger before putting them in the pond this year or leave them until next?

Hi Angie. I would wait to see how big the plants actually are when they arrive. They may be small enough to leave for now. By the way, did you find out about the labelling on the Bletilla you bought?
Thanks Ladybird. Plants arrived today and all bar one looked small enough to leave for now.
As for the Bletilla......I have phoned the RBGE 3 times and each time I am put through to a shop assistant who has no idea about caring for this plant. It seems those in the know are all a bit too busy to speak on the phone. A bit disappointing really but them's the breaks! I'll treat it as an annual this year, pop it in the ground and forget all about it.
