Pea Plants (the edible kind)

Hi,

Can anyone help? I planted some peas about 6 weeks back and they are now a decent size to be planted out - some even flowering. However the leaves at the base of each plant are turning yellow and drying up. A similar thing happened to my sweat peas which were growing nearby, so separated them and my sweat peas seem ok now but not the ones pictured. Is this a fungal disease I keep reading about or is it normal?

Thanks,

Nathan

I WOULD SAY THAT YOURS ARE STARVING TO DEATH. PUT THEM IN THE GROUND, TELL THEM YOU ARE VERY VERY SORRY AND GIVE THEM A SLAP UP MEAL.

Thank you!! I shall get them in the ground. What do you feed them? New to this veg growing!
