Musa basjoo back from the dead!

AdRockAdRock Posts: 241

Hi everyone,

to my surprise the Musa basjoo which I thought was a gonna has acutally decided to send out 3 new shoots!

Is it normal to do this and do I divide them at any point?

Tip it out, wash off the compost, and slice it into three lumps , each with a growing shoot, using a sharp blade or the bread knife if allowed.  Repot each bit into a pot  a couple of inches larger than the section. Water and feed well.  When the roots fill that pot, put into a larger pot and continue to feed and water well.
