    Some sort of geum possilbly

    Confused. Is a Geum a weed, or a plant that some people class a weed?

    The name Geum covers a large family of plants some of which are wild flowers and others which are more select.

    Geum urbanum is a right PITA around here so for me it's a weed.  However, another of the native geums, G. Rivale is absolutely gorgeous and grows around our little pond image
