Evergreen 4 in 1

is there any benefit to leaving evergreen 4 in 1 on the lawn before watering in?

Every bit of advice only mentions to water it in if it's not rained for 2 days - is there a reason for leaving it 2 days before watering in?

On my pack it doesn't say leave it for two days, it says if it hasn't rained by two days after applying it should be watered in and it will then start working - slightly different.

I presume a good heavy rainfall is always going to be preferable to a hose or sprinkler, but if you want to water it in there's no reason why you shouldn't.

    Agreed with Dove.

Leaving the granules on for too long may cause harm. The 'ingredients' it contains such as ferrous sulphate will kill the moss and scorch the grass but do little lasting damage. The biggesst danger is high concentrations of fertilizer that could seriously weaken the the grass roots or kill it off if left in situ for too long.

There's no point leaving it dry. It starts working once it dissolves. Water it right in.
