My rhubarb plant is about to flower which seems very early.
Can I continue to harvest this plant?

Don't allow rhubarb to flower - it weakens the plant. Take the whole flower stem out from the base and give the plant lots of water - a couple of buckets full today and more in a few days time. It's probably the prolonged dry spell that has put it under stress. I'd stop pulling stalks for this season unless it's very prolific.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
