Tomatoes

B3B3 Posts: 27,505

I was thinking of growing some tomatoes in a south facing porch. Plenty of light but it gets very hot.

I think they're moneymaker - found an old packet and they've germiated ok.

Will they be too hot in there?

If it's not suitable, I'll bung them out the back.

In London. Keen but lazy.

As long as you can ventilate them well, they should be ok. You can always add a bit of shading during the hottest part of the day - a basic blind  image

I was tempted just to answer 'your tummy' as your thread  title is 'Tomatoes-  where to put them' image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

That is the ultimate aim FGimage

Shading and ventilation isn't an option. I'll put them out the back somewhere.
