Purple leaves on yucca

imageCan anyone tell me why some of the leaves on just one of my yuccas (the one at the front, if the photo's not clear) have turned a purpley/bronze colour.

    Cold is the most likely reason, or too wet. As they're the central ones - at  the crown - I'd say that might be more likely. They look like they've rotted They lose leaves anyway, but the nature of the damage makes me think that's a possibility image 

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
