Not posted any videos for a while - one from lat night/this morning:

Lots of birdies - I edited out most of the pigeons or it would have been 3 times as long! image

I think the camera is slightly too close as some are not quite in focus so have moved it back a few inches for tonight.

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

I have evidence of hogs in my garden and was putting out water regularly. However, the water also attracted rats! We have put out rat poison, under plants pots and concrete slabs so other wild life are unable to get to it.  Have others experienced this?

I doubt the water attracted rats. The rats were already around.

There's no way a shallow dish of water is attracting rats....

More hogs and birdies from last night/today.  Again, most pigeons edited out.  I think the hog has grown quite a bit! image

I have tried hard today to buy a hog house. Unfortunately, they only seem to be available via the web.  Can anyone suggest the best type of hog house to look for and where to buy it? There are so many different ones to chlose from. I have also been told that it is critical that the doorway is the right size, some apparently are too small. Is it essential that they have hanged lids for cleaning after the hog(s) vacate it? I would appreciate any help.

Hi Maisie...if you look at the Help Save The Hedgehogs thread I have given you a couple of options from Riverside Woodcraft.
