Can anyone tell me what plant this is? It's the first year of being in our house and things are popping up all over the place!

I can't remember what it is, but I 'm pretty sure I get it in my garden and pull it up.
Lovely if it is phlox, but something tells me it's not - just have to hope I'm wrong and someone can tell us what it is

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
It looks willowherb ish. It could be one of the cultivated Epilobiums , it looks too well grown for fireweed. Leave it a week or two, and it will flower. If you like it , keep it. If you don't , be ruthless and dig it out. A weed is just a plant in the wrong place. I see what look like some welsh poppy seedlings poking out around it. I keep them, others think they are weeds.
It looks like Solidago, I have lots of them in my garden, they look the same.
