Help with Jade plant
New Member
Hello. Any help is much appreciated. 12 years plus plant. Recently had to cut rot root/fungus away from base of trunk. Now the whole tree is losing its strength to stand by itself. Roots looked healthy after repotting. Any suggestions? Should I cut it dow where it's weakening n and relpant? Would it grow again after that? Rookie here with this process. Thanks

That stem looks to have had it. Best thing is to start again with cuttings taken from the top growth. They root very easily, just stick the end of a stem in some gritty compost. Don't overwater but don't let it get completely dried out. Soon you will have a forest of Jade plants!
Thanks for the reply if I cut it off just above where it rotted do you think it will regrow? I'd sure like the current size of it rather than starting new this is 12 years of growth
