I must admit, I haven't even needed to use nematodes this year - much drier weather & frost killed most of the adults this winter. I struggle to find 4-5 on a night time slug hunt now. Last year was a nightmare because of the mild winter, I easily had over 5,000 in the back garden alone.
Just to reassure anyone who doesn't like the idea of worms however tiny the nematodes treatment looks like sawdust just a dry powder you stir into water and no wriggling these creatures are microscopic
i'm just hoping I watered enough last week, we had some rain yesterday but ground was so dry, I watered daily but had limited time so hope they stayed wet enough

Two weeks on and still no slugs even near my newly planted hostas! Very very happy.
Nematodes. Has anyone tried to grow them DIY??? I believe that you can, by collecting snails in a lided bucket
