Apple trees care / identify
Good morning all.
we moved into our new home last year, for which most of the time we have spent working inside, now this is coming to near completion it's time to get back to the garden, of which we did spend a month clearing clearing at the start.
Anyway we have 4 apple trees of which we have done nothing to them they do look pretty old which I am told is a good thing.
I have brought grease bands for them and ordered some moth traps, I do not know where to start with the pruning.
i have added 2 photos of each below.

Good advice from Pansy. I have two very old apple trees - the fruit wouldn't win any awards and the branches are a bit under-pruned for a text book tree but they make such a gorgeous addition to the garden.
See how they grow and what they produce this year but don't prune them until Winter - and ask a tree surgeon for advice re pruning and health.
