Lilly Beetle

Good morning 

This is a stupid question, how many Lilly Beetles can I expect?

I have seen around 10 and disposed of them, I do have lots of. Lilly around the garden.

    I have only seen two in my garden so far and I do keep checking. I wonder if the cold north winds might be deterring them. I am quite sure they will appear shortly.  image

    A friend and I picked twenty off two two pots of lilies the other day.  So far I haven't had any at all.

    I had only one the whole of last year,  dozens the year before and 2 so far this year. In my experience  a bit hard to tell.

    This is the result of using vine weevil nematodes. Two very dead vine weevil grubs dug out of the soil. A horrible yellowy colour.  The nematode do seem to work.  I have not seen them like this before.
