identify tree/shrub from leaf?

jt_0001jt_0001 Posts: 14

Just wondering what this shrub is to the right?  Is it common elderberry (sambucus niger)?image

Plus can someone tell me what this shrub/tree that was used as a hedge is from the leaf?

Well, the leaves on the large stump in the first picture look like the common elder to me.  Can't say anything about all the other stumps.

That single leaf looks like sycamore.

I don't think its the same as the leaves on the stump in the first photo.

I can see bits of it around in the area of that elder stump though Dove.

I wouldn't want the job of clearing that lot out image

    Could that leaf be osmanthus?
