Something's eating my rose

Something is eating my rose and I'm not sure what.  Would it be possible to assist with an ID on said muncher please and a solution - bearing in mind I only applied nematodes to deal with my vine weevil issue last week and don't want to kill them off!

many thanks

The yellowed leaf is last year's old one, and has faded prior to dropping off. It doesn't look sickly, just old. That said, be aware of yellowed leaves that start off going from green with black IRREGULAR patches, because that's downy mildew, a fungal disease that can defoliate a rose completely if left untreated/unchecked.

The flower petals show signs of snail or slug damage when it was in bud, the damage only showing when the flower unfurls. Minor and not to be worried about.

Fantastic thanks- have just put wool pellets down to stop them!

Could also be earwigs eating the leaf petals. Come out when it's dark with a torch and have a check.
