Lilac scarce leaves
in Plants
We bought a house a year ago (first time buyers, therefore, first time doing landscape maintenance). We have a lilac bush and it is currently blooming. There are few to no leaves low on the bush. Is it dying? Is there anything I can do to save it and get it healthy? Thanks!

I'm no expert and someone may come along and tell you different, but I think it is normal. Both my Mum and I have lilacs in our gardens, and they are more like small trees than bushes. Lilacs get big and grow up.
You could prune it after it has flowered and you will get fresh growth lower down, and probably suckers from the base, but it will continue to put on new growth at the top each year (I think!)
Photo of mine if it helps:
