You could say survival of the fittest.. but without any help the only plants left standing from the slug invasion would be lavender, bindweed & ground elder I do leave areas of the garden wild though.
However, developing on green belt land & major destruction of habitat is on a whole different level to me
You all make really interesting points. But I think the best, for me, was someone saying, 'maybe just relax a bit and try to enjoy what's in front of you.' I guess we've domesticated a lot of plant-life. But it's nice that we can keep dogs and still see wolves, or something.
