End of a season

Hello,
Sorry to have to write a post of this nature but Michael wished me to leave a post for those he may have communicated with on this forum.
I'm sorry to have say that Michael lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday the 26th April. Prior to passing away he asked me to let you guys and girls know on this site.
Thanks for letting him be a part of this group he enjoyed his time on here and he loved his garden.

Hi Ellen - thank you for letting us know. How very sad. I didn't know he was ill - but I saw his posts regularly. He obviously did love his gardening, and it's nice to know he enjoyed being a part of the forum.
He thanked me privately for some advice I once offered and it was kind of him to do that. It's always appreciated.
Much love to all those he's left behind x
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
This is a great surprise. It's only a short while ago that he was posting about how many hundreds of onions and dozens of tomatoes he had planted. Such an enthusiastic gardener and a lovely man to know on here.
I am so sorry for your loss. Ours too but obviously he will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Condolences to all.
I am so sorry to hear that.
Hello Ellen

My deepest condolences to his family and friends, and thank you for posting here at such a difficult time for you.
Kindest regards
Daisy
Sorry to hear of your loss.
I've only recently started posting so didn't get the chance to chat with Michael, but have been reading the posts on this forum for quite some time. Michael was always one to share experience and information and I'm sure I won't be the only one to miss that.
my thoughts are with his family and friends
I am very sorry to hear this news. Michael was full of great advice. We'll miss such a friendly, knowledgeable Forumite. Thoughts are with you and all his loved ones.
A sad loss. Rest in peace, Michael.
Ellen, thank you for letting us know - I'm so very sorry to hear such sad news. Michael was always so keen and so positive and unfailingly good humoured. I shall miss him. My sincere condolences to his family and all who loved and cared for him.
