Rhododendrum help

Hi i have had trouble with brown leaves and dull looking plant planted  just this mothers day   i havent taken the great advice i was given on here i just want to know if i have followed the advice properly i have dug out all around it placed the bark fed it with sequestered iron tonic with manganese and magnesium i will be gratefull for any fed back please  also here is pic ..thank you  margi

    Patience.   It may take weeks or even a whole growing season to recover - assuming you did take the advice offered earlier.

    Oops think the pic is in another thread that I've just replied to.

    I said it would grow out of it.  I've not followed the various threads but as others are intimating, you will get new growth that will cover this old growth which you can pull off to tidy up.
