You can start with the seaweed any time chris. It's a supplement rather than a fertilizer, it provides lots of trace minerals often not found in fertilizers and you'll notice the difference, it seems to make all plants much stronger and able to resist disease, so you get better fruit/flowers/leaves
You can apply it as a foliar spray (when the sun is not out) or to the roots via a watering can. The smell of seaweed in my greenhouse... it's like being at the sea-side
