Greenhouse

Good morning, any ideas on when to remove greenhouse insulation. I am in the Wirral area and will be on holiday  in 2 weeks time. Is it too early, the temperature yesterday was in the middle 20,s (centigrade) and the automatic roof vent was open quite a bit.

Personally I won't be removing mine at least until the middle of May, and then only if the weather forecast for the next two weeks says no frost.  As you are going away perhaps it would be worth checking the two week weather forecast before you go and decide then.  Have a good time.

I didn't ever remove mine, it Shades from the sun in the summer so keeps it a bit cooler inside,

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

I dont bother to remove it,  use the green shade net stuff clipped onto the sunny side over the top, seems like a waste of money and making more waste to remove it.

I remove all but a small area in the south aspect as I double line mine with bubble wrap so I can grow seed in there all year round practically, with bubble wrap 'tents' to pull over if the temp goes really low.  Have no heating, but all works really well.
