Hi Phil. I am not sure that the plants in your first picture are Willow herb. They look a little bit like my Sweet Williams but I wouldn't bet my life on it. The tall plant in your second picture looks like a Buddleja seedling.

The top one seems to be sprouting up in a fair few places if that helps any.
