Yellow and red leaves

A number of my fruits and vegetables have red/brown edges to their leaves and seedlings have reddish stalks. The worst is a pheasant Berry (Leicesteria formosa) which has yellow and brown leaves which have curled. Is it excess iron or a pH problem?

might be the recent chilly nights
or drought? Have you had the long dry spell that we've had in the east?
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
The ground was waterlogged for months which I read can lead to an iron build up.
