Evergreen 4 in 1 boo-boo

Hi guys, 

so I got my first ever house but the front an bacl garden was 90% moss 10% grass. 

I bought Evergreen 4in1 spread it evenly out but now it has turned my front pretty much brown an black. I then managed to rake up a bin full of moss but its still black, this all in the space of 2 days. 

Do you guys have any idea when garden will go green again even if moss? My OH not happy I think I  have over did it an not anticpated the look. i no it said there may be some blackeing of the grass for 2 weeks. But this is quite a shocking result.

    Perhaps you are just quite shocked at how much moss was in your grass? Did you water it after putting the moss killer down? It is amazing how you can just look at a lawn and think it is nice and green and it is only when you kill the moss you realise that most of the greenness was moss! 

    Rake all the black stuff out and then reseed the bare patches. It will come good!

    Thanks so much, it was a very unloved lawn when moved in, so your probally right ? You dont expect the colour to be so black! My granny said try not worry that the green will come back in time wether its moss again or grass? Will keep raking it up an perhaps put some seed down in a weeks time? My In-laws wanted us to get fake grass and not plant anything, so I wanted to show natural grass is better looks wise an for enviorment but bit embarrsed as this looks like I have failed at first hurdle haha ??

    yea will keep Raking it out and some sowing like you havev said, never ever using this stuff ever again!! 

    Dont recomend unless you relise how much work need to put in ! And the horrible look you first get
