Fatsia Japonica - frost damage on new growth

Assume this is frost damage from the other evening on new year growth. It was doing so well...best growth in years...
What happens next?

Just wait a couple of weeks and cut it off. New stuff will grow.
I've got several little clumps of frozen brown 'sprouts' as mine are not yet new foliage, but I'll just nip them out soon.
You could probably cut them off now if it's going to be milder for the next few days. I let mine get on with it. We've had four or five frosts in the past week, although the week of severe frosts in late winter had them looking very sad. They recover though
