Growing Pink Plum tomatoes indoors

Hi
I'm new to all this. I'm going some Pink Plum tomatoes in containers. The plants are doing well - I have them in a south facing conservatory.
My question is - do I need to move them so they get direct sunlight? Where they are now is very bright and warm but it doesn't get direct sunlight

Bright and warm sounds good to me ... in my experience tomatoes need warm temperatures rather than direct sunlight.

I decided to take up gardening as a hobby after forming some chilli last year. I've had to go for the indoor option as we have young children who play in the back garden and not sure plants would last long :-)
Luckily we have a very big conservatory which is very bright and gets warm in the day. It does get much cooler at night - is that a problem?
