Cerinthe seedlings

Fionabee2Fionabee2 Posts: 19

imageMy cerinthe seedlings are approx 2 wks old now. They are planted in halved kitchen roll tubes. I'm not sure if I should now transfer them to pots or can they stay in the cardboard tubes until planting in the garden.

Will I need to pinch them out? Sorry if this sounds really basic, its the first time I've grown from seed. Books do seem to gloss over a lot of things!

Thanks folks.

ok in the tubes , but they need more light and grow a bit before you do any planting

They're tough as ol'boots, but as above, let yours get bigger, then harden them off for about a week before planting out. They'll grow quickly. I pinched mine out last year at 3 or 4 sets of leaves and they grew to about 2ft-2ft6
