Ceratophyllum dermersum(Hornwort)

AngieRAngieR Posts: 347

My oxygenating plants were delivered today and I am unsure if I need to bunch them or not.  Can anyone advise?

I was expecting them to be bunched together with those little metal rings that weigh it down.  What can I use as an alternative?

Hornwort (I've recently learned) floats freely in the water.

I recently bought some - which looks very inferior to yours - and just chucked it in the pond.

Pete's correct - just throw it in the pond. It will sort itself out.

Oops, forgot to thank you both the other day.  Apologies.  Cheers, now chucked in the pond to do it's thing.

Pete8, I bought this online from Puddleplants.  Couldn't source it locally, even as far up as Perth.  I was told by the lady in Linden Garden Centre that getting their hands on stock this year had proved difficult.  I'm sure yours will come away.
