I have had them go on for a few years, but they do gradually get smaller and weaker. The second year ones are still looking good though - they would probably be almost out if not for this cold snap!
I love them , bought loads last year, they go with everything and give it a bit of a lift. I've used it with pinks but loved this dramatic display with Redshine and anemones.
Queen of the night and triumphator in large terracotta pot with cordyline, has looked lovely for several weeks ?
These are National velvet, the most rich, delightful deep colour, they even look velvet to touch, have bloomed beautifully for several weeks, they are set off with the cream planter i think ?
Blousey, pink Angelique, soooo girlie and gorgeous?
my first time growing tulips, can't believe i planted them in september last year, 7 months wait, but worth every minute?
Last year I grew qotn with 'purissima' although qotn was a bit later. This year I grew 'Catherina' that is a similar shape to qotn and is going to overlap nicely with it.
hi andy, i have not heard of tulips called catherine? I'm so pleased i took the time to pot up my tulips last september.....how tall are these! Must be a metre high, i think they are ballerina, strange how tall they have grown
