Identity of ivy
Hi there. Can anyone out there identify this ivy for me. I spotted today and thought it was lovely but i cant make out if it is two varieties interspersed or just the one. Thought maybe it could be goldchild or buttercup but cant make up my mind. Many thanks for your help.
Kind regards
Clifford

I can't ID the variety but the two colours could be due to reversion, a common occurrence with variegated plants, or infiltration from another

Hi. Thanks. Yes I think I'll have to investigate further.

Take your secateurs in and get a cutting from the variegated part

Hedera helix 'Goldchild'. The leaf form true to the cultivar is the gold edged variegated one, the green ones,as said, are the reversion. In more sun, the leaves often go completely gold.
